What Do Plumbers Do?
Most people seem to think that plumbers fix faucets, clear clogged drains, fix toilets, and install plumbing fixtures. Or maybe that was what I thought 19 years ago before sitting down for an interview as an apprentice plumber. Lucky for me I got the job, but then my eyes were opened. The first week I learned about everything from plumbers putty to steam traps. Then we installed a faucet, toilet and even an 80 gallon natural gas water heater .
