Most people seem to think that plumbers fix faucets, clear clogged drains, fix toilets, and install plumbing fixtures. Or maybe that was what I thought 19 years ago before sitting down for an interview as an apprentice plumber. Lucky for me I got the job, but then my eyes were opened. Today’s Examiner has an opinion piece by Noemie Emery that is just so ironical, I had to blog it! It relies on a metaphor. This metaphor takes five paragraphs to unspool.
