When The Shower Drain Clogged In The Basement In San Francisco I Thought My Night Was Over
I was making an attempt to prepare for a date when the drain clogged in the shower. I seized the plunger and went to work on it, thinking to myself that I most likely looked like such a goon. Here I was with soap and shampoo cascading off me and jumping up and down with no result. How was I going to get this fixed, finish showering and get to the other side of San Francisco in less than three hours?
Fortunately for me I was able to get a good plumber on the phone who said he would be over in virtually no time. I used to be a bit worried that they were going to be late and I was going to miss my date, but it took them less time than they’d originally told me it was going to take.
After they got to my place they went to work on it instantly and like magic they were out and in. They simply took a tool they called a snake and fixed the issue.
Though the drain clogged before, I never did much to fix it and on occasion I would get a bottle of some of the liquid stuff. The more that I used some of the cheap liquid stuff, the more the drain appeared to clog.
I talked to the plumbers about the liquid stuff and they informed me that some of the liquid stuff can basically cause seriousProblems over time . Some older homes in San Francisco have specific kinds of pipes that are jointed together with stuff that the liquid cleaners eat away, making the problem worse.
Thankfully I was able to get to my date in time and my plumbing Problems appear to be fixed for good. If you have a drain clogged and nothing looks to be working, don’t pour gallons of cleaners down the drain, just call a pro with the proper tools to mend it like magic.
